Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister late J Jayalalithaa's aide V K Sasikala and her sister-in-law J Ilavarasi were on Friday granted regular bail by a special court dealing with anti-corruption cases.

Income Tax officials on Thursday questioned former AIADMK leader V K Sasikala at Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Bengaluru, in connection to a disproportionate assets case, prison sources said.

The Madras High Court on Friday confirmed the two-year jail term awarded to M Natarajan, husband of jailed AIADMK leader V K Sasikala, for evasion of customs duty on the import of a luxury car.
