Vadodara Truck Accident

Ten persons, including two children and as many women, were killed and seven others injured on Tuesday after a container truck hit a three-wheeler carrying passengers on the national highway near Vadodara city in Gujarat, police said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed grief over a road accident in Gujarat's Vadodara that left at least 10 people dead and said that the administration is providing all possible assistance to the needy.

As many as three members of a family were killed and one was injured, after an over-speeding truck rammed into their car from the opposite direction at Alamgir village on NH-8 in Vadodara district, police sources said today.
