Tamil Nadu Governor Thiru Banwarilal Purohit has appointed Professor Dr R Velraj Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, Chennai, for three years.

The project will mark his second collaboration with director Velraj after recent blockbuster Vela Illa Pattathari

Tamil film Vellai Illa Pattathari featuring Dhanush is slated to release on July 18, and its director Velraj says that the actor, who is a pleasure to work with, chipped in with suggestions for the script wherever needed.

Dhanush's upcoming Tamil romantic-comedy, his 25th film, has been titled Velailla Pattathari. It will be produced under the actor's home banner Wunderbar Films.
