Versova Sex Racket

At first glance the premises appeared to be a model-coordinating agency, one of many flourishing in Versova. However, on Monday the special squad of Additional Commissioner of Police (West Region) Vishwas Nangre-Patil arrested two pimps and rescued a model and another woman from a sex racket flourishing at a flat in New MHADA Colony, Versova.

A 24-year-old woman from Kolkata, who was brought to Mumbai six years ago, on Sunday escaped from a flat in Versova village where she was being held captive. She came to the city of dreams to act in films. Her dream soon turned into a nightmare after she was forced into the flesh trade.
