"There is a misconception. When I was trying to sell Kahaani to people, they were like what a stupid script it is. Unfortunately, everybody feels once the climax is known, the film has no value. They think a thriller film doesn't have a repeat value," said Sujoy Ghosh

"I find it amazing when they say couples work together. We discuss a little bit of work but as long as it's not involving the two of us, we are safe. It's just healthier for our marriage not to work together," said Vidya

"There were numerous restrictions and we didn't want that there should be any unnecessary expenditure on marketing or promotions because it becomes a burden on the film. We could do something unique or smaller, which could have a similar impact," said Big B

"Nawazuddin has been shooting for one of his other films. And since the dates for that film had to be extended, he had to miss out on this one," said TE3N director Ribhu Dasgupta

Abhimaan cast the Bachchans as talented singers Subir and Uma, who fall in love and get married only to later be driven apart by professional rivalry. Meanwhile, Vidya will be seen in Te3n co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Kahaani 2

Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Bejoy Nambiar's Wazir. Currently he is busy filming PINK. Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, PINK releases on September 16 this year. Besides PINK, Big B will also be seen in the much-hyped Te3N which also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan

"We shot for Te3n and in Te3n I have a special appearance but it was still fun because Sujoy produced the film and I went back to Kolkata for the shoot, and the team was more or less the same. I think that was some sort of a preparation for me to get back into Kahaani," said Vidya Balan

Vidya Balan, who made her debut in Bollywood with 2005's Parineeta, also featured in films like Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, The Dirty Picture and Kahaani. Vidya also featured in the television serial Hum Paanch. She is currently busy filming Te3n

Mr Bachchan, who will be seen along with Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Te3n, wrote on Twitter that he was going through "withdrawal symptoms". The 73-year-old thespian also thanked the people of Kolkata, where the movie has been extensively shot, and shared an image of him waving at fans

"I am playing a cop in the film. It's a special appearance, but I was excited about doing it because it's a fabulous script. I'll get a chance to shoot again in Kolkata with Mr Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sujoy," said Vidya. Vidya has previously worked with Big B in Paa and Sujoy Ghsoh in Kahaani
