Three years and 11 months have passed, but uncertainty and fear still loom large over late gangster Vikas Dubey's village.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday granted bail to Khushi Dubey, the wife of a close aide of dead gangster Vikas Dubey, in a case related to the killing of eight policemen who had gone to arrest him in a Kanpur village in July 2020.

More than three months since the Bikru village ambush, in which eight policemen including a deputy SP were killed, the Kanpur police has invoked the Gangsters Act against 30 of aides of gangster Vikas Dubey arrested in connection with the case.
