Villagers Held Demonstration

Hundreds of villagers locked in a stand-off with Chinese officials held yet another demonstration at Wukan village on Wednesday even as China's Internet censors blocked searches relating to the protests over land rights.

A police constable was allegedly stabbed to death and robbed of his motorcycle following which the villagers held demonstration and blocked the Meerut-Karnal highway, police said on Tuesday.
