Apple Smart Glasses and a more affordable Vision Pro device are reportedly in the company’s product roadmap and could arrive some time in the future. As per a report, the company might introduce a cheaper version of the Apple Vision Pro as soon as next year. The device might get less features than the existing mixed-reality headset.

Meta Quest 3 is getting a new app that will allow users to measure real-world objects. Dubbed Layout, the utility app was released by the company as a part of the Meta Quest v68 update for the mixed-reality device. The new app can both measure real objects as well as place virtual objects with a given size specification.

"Services like this app can remind people who are away from romance how delightful love is, and AI can train people to better communicate when talking with real partners," Megumi Ushikubo, CEO of Tokyo-based marketing firm Infinity Inc.
