When he pulled out a large rifle at a toll booth plaza in Gujarat, Congress MP Vitthalbhai Radadiya said that he had acted in self-defence. He repeated the same explanation today as he applied for anticipatory bail in a court in Vadodara today. A case has been filed against him for rioting and branding a weapon in public.

Vitthalbhai Hansrajbhai Radadiya will be famous for some time as the gun-toting MP from Gujarat. He has a number of criminal cases against him. Ironically, he represents Porbandar in Lok Sabha.
