Wakf Land Scam

Karnataka Government has set up a high-level committee to look into the encroachment of Wakf properties, Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda said.The committee would submit its report in four months' time, Mr Gowda said in a statement.

A report on the alleged scam of over Rs 2 lakh crore, involving the Wakf Board land, is likely to be tabled in the Karnataka Assembly today. The state-govt appointed committee submitted the 7,000-page report to Chief Minister D Sadananda Gowda on Monday.
