Wanted Man Arrested In Haryana

The kingpin of an interstate ATM robbers gang and wanted in four states including Haryana was arrested after a brief encounter near Falendi village in Haryana's district Nuh on Sunday, police said.

A 27-year-old man, who was wanted in 15 cases of uprooting and looting ATMs in different states and is a suspected member of a Mewat-based gang, has been arrested from south Delhi, police said on Sunday.

Four people have been arrested for allegedly blackmailing a man in Haryana with a threat of filing a false rape case, the police said on Thursday. The gang told the man to pay Rs 5 lakh if he wanted to avoid facing the false rape case, the police said.
