A source said that Wasim Bari wanted a long-term contract but the Pakistan Cricket Board asked him prove himself during the West Indies series.

A source inside the Pakistan Cricket Board said Wasim Bari's name was being considered seriously since he has plenty of experience having worked as chief selector and also in management positions in the past.

According to details, celebrated wicketkeeper, Wasim Bari, former Test batsman Muhammad Illyas, former international, Moin ul Atiq and others have not been offered fresh contracts.
