"It's story was first narrated to me by Shoojit Sircar and it took me minutes to agree. I did not ask what role I was going to play or what the story or screenplay would be," said Big B

Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, Wazir features Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari, apart from Big B. "I am not very conversant with visual effects. They used to ask me to wear black socks and draw marks on them. My feet used to be tied. I did not think that it was really cumbersome. It adds to your performance," said Big B

Wazir also features Farhan Akhtar, who plays the role of an Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) officer in the film, while Big B plays an ailing wheel chair-bound chess master
