The West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB) today issued a notification banning sale and use of all kinds of fireworks during Kali Puja, Diwali and other festivals this year following an order of the Calcutta High Court.

West Bengal Pollution Control Board permitted the sales and bursting of green firecrackers in the state for a limited time frame during Diwali, Chhath Puja, Christmas and New Years Eve on Wednesday.

The West Bengal Pollution Control Board has released the admit card for the job exam it had notified in December 2020. The exam will be held on January 24.

The secondary (Madhyamik) examination will be held from February 18 to 27, while the higher secondary (Uchha Madhyamik) examination from March 12 to 27.
