Wildlife Rescue And Rehabilitation Centre

A joint team of Kaziranga National Park and the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC) rescued a nearly one-year-old female rhino calf from Dahgaon village in the fringe area of the national park on Saturday morning.

Chahal also visited the Agra Bear Rescue Facility run by Wildlife SOS that is home to rehabilitated sloth bears.

The Supreme Court today sought responses from the Centre, Rajasthan and Goa on pleas alleging that cruelty is being meted out to elephants used for joyrides in these states.
