Woman Killed For Jewellery

A 31-year-old man and his partner were arrested for allegedly killing a 56-year-old woman and decamping with cash and jewellery worth more than Rs 1 crore in northwest Delhi's Shalimar Bagh, police said on Friday.

Unknown assailants chopped off a hand and legs of a 70-year-old woman to rob silver anklets and bangles she was wearing, leaving her dead in Tonk district late on Saturday. Using sharp edged weapon, the assailants killed the elderly woman and fled with the valuables, police said.
