A 31-year-old man in northeast Delhi's Karawal Nagar area was allegedly duped of Rs 15 lakh by fraudsters who promised to pay him Rs 50 for each video he reviewed, police said on Tuesday.

Work from Home or Part-time job scams contribute to highest number of cyber crimes reported in the country followed by illegal lending apps in 2023, as per the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C), a part of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Officials of Delhi Police on Sunday arrested two persons, accused of duping people on the pretext of providing them with work-from-home jobs.

Three people, including a woman, were arrested for allegedly cheating more than 100 people on the pretext of providing them 'work from home' jobs, police said on Sunday.
