Some 10,000 NRIs as also representatives from India, Canada and Britain are expected to attend the American Telugu Association's (ATA) 13th annual Conference and Youth Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The Telugu New Year 'Ugadi', named 'Nandana' this year, was yesterday celebrated with traditional fervour and devotion across the state. Speaking at a function on the occasion, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the World Telugu Convention will be held in the temple town of Tirupati in December.
