Worli Resident Murder

For the last week, different parts of a woman's dead body were found scattered across Mumbai. Her head was discovered yesterday on the highway in the eastern suburb of Thane, wrapped in a plastic bag and then a sheet.

Over a week after Worli resident Priyanka Gurav's dismembered body was found in a nullah, her severed head has been found. The Rabale MIDC police recovered it from a desolate spot on Shahapur-Nashik road in Thane district yesterday. The head was wrapped in layers of plastic bags and a bed sheet, and dumped near a tree.

A day before her police custody ends, Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in the sensational Sheena Bora murder case, was today taken to her residence in Worli in Mumbai, apparently to connect a few "remaining dots" in the murder mystery marked by involvement of dramatis personae.

Mumbai Police has raided Peter Mukerjea's residence in Worli and has extensively questioned the former Star India CEO and all other accused in the sensational Sheena Bora murder case.
