Kaala Karikaalan is being produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films while director Pa Ranjith will hold the reins of the film

Dhanush quickly responded saying the project will go on floors in mid-May. Meanwhile, Dhanush's first film as a director, Power Paandi, opened to great reviews both from the critics and the audience, on April 14

"I'm so proud and honoured to announce our production's next film," Dhanush wrote on his Twitter page

Dhanush's upcoming Tamil romantic-comedy, his 25th film, has been titled Velailla Pattathari. It will be produced under the actor's home banner Wunderbar Films.
