Yamuna Expressway to open today
The 165-km long Yamuna Expressway connecting Greater Noida with Agra will be inaugurated today by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. Mr Yadav will inaugurate the Expressway from Lucknow while senior Samajwadi Party leader Ramgopal Yadav will flag off vehicles at the Expressway, official sources said.

Farmers residing on both sides of Yamuna Expressway on Thursday wrote to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav demanding that the Yamuna Expressway should not be opened till their service road parallel to it is developed for connectivity of villages along the Expressway.
