Ys Vivekananda Reddy Death

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was informed about the death of his uncle and former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy much before the news became public, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) told a court on Friday.

YSR Congress party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy today demanded a CBI probe into the "murder" of party leader and his uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy. The leader of opposition also blamed the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for the killing of Vivekananda, brother of his late father and former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

YS Vivekananda Reddy, younger brother of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy and a former minister in the state government, was found murdered at his home in Pulivendula, Kadapa district on Friday. He had sustained severe injuries on his head, the police said. A murder case has been lodged.
