Security forces on Saturday killed six terrorists in a gunfight in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. An aide of Zakir Musa, one of Kashmir's most wanted terrorist, was also killed in the operation.

Security agencies have been put on high alert in Bathinda and Ferozepur districts of Punjab on Thursday following intelligence reports that terrorist Zakir Moosa could be hiding in the area.

The intelligence agencies had issued a letter stating that seven members of the terror outfit JeM were believed to be sighted in Ferozepur, Punjab.
