The Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) has announced plans for "SKYTOPIA," an ambitious development that promises to turn Hong Kong International Airport into a global destination. Aimed at blending culture, leisure and commerce, SKYTOPIA will redefine the airport experience. At its core, SKYTOPIA will feature Hong Kong's first one-stop art hub, fostering art creation, appreciation and trading in a single space. The city's first dedicated standalone art storage facility will also open, designed to serve collectors, galleries and museums.

For maritime fans, the Airport Bay Marina will become Hong Kong's largest yacht bay, offering over 500 berths. Entertainment is a major component, with Phase 2 of AsiaWorld-Expo introducing Hong Kong's largest indoor performance venue, set to host concerts and large-scale events for up to 20,000 spectators. The Jet Fresh Market will provide a unique culinary experience, featuring gourmet products from around the world.
Sports lovers will enjoy the upcoming 'sportstainment' complex, combining indoor and outdoor spaces for adventure, sports and entertainment. A 1.5 km-long CoveWalk and Piazza will offer visitors scenic waterfront views, perfect for leisurely strolls.
