Choose bags that have hidden zippers, straps, or pockets. Crossbody bags are a safer bet than backpacks, especially in places like railway stations.

Never keep your cash, cards, or ID proof in one place. Split them between your bag, wallet, and a hidden pouch to avoid loss of any kind.
