1 Dead As Falling Boulder Strikes Car In Sikkim Amid Monsoon
In a tragic incident earlier today, a taxi traveling from Lingi to Singtam in Gangtok District was struck by a large bolder near Sisney, close to Makha Singbel. Reports indicate that the accident occurred when the rock fell onto the vehicle, resulting in death of one person on the spot and several others sustaining serious injuries. The incident happened at a time when Sikkim is facing Monsoon fury with NH 10 connecting the State with rest of the country being completely cut off.
