Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal attended the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting in the US and met leaders including President Joe Biden, an event that according to Mr Goyal, "clearly shows the respect India is getting from the US and other nations". He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has "steered the economy beautifully, strengthening macroeconomic fundamentals and made the country of 140 crores aspirational with improving infrastructure." "India may become the third-largest economy in three-four years down the road. In his third term, India will be the third-largest economy, it's no-brainer, 100 per cent we will make it happen. All this has set up India to see fast growth for the next 30-40 years," Mr Goyal told NDTV.
