104 govt schools in Nanital district without toilets
Despite Nanital district being the seat of power for many of Uttrakhand government's current ministers, many schools in the district are in a pathetic state. This school near the Corbett reserve has no boundary wall and proper roof to protect the children from the approaching winter. No toilets means the children have to venture into the jungle. Out of 1367 government schools in Nanital district, 104 have no toilets and 140 schools are without drinking water.
