12 Of 700 Congress Delegates Attend Shashi Tharoor's Chennai Campaign
Shashi Tharoor, running for Congress president, got a very cold shoulder from party delegates in Tamil Nadu on Thursday. He was in Chennai to seek support of the 700-plus Congress delegates from the state but only 12 or so attended the meeting. "It is their loss if they are afraid to attend my meet. We could have had a constructive exchange," the Congress MP said. NDTV's Sam Daniel speaks to Mr Tharoor on his roadmap for strengthening Congress in Tamil Nadu.
