12 Shots Fired At Former Congress MLA At His Home In Himachal's Bilaspur

In Himachal Pradesh's Bilaspur, Congress leader and former MLA Bamber Thakur was shot at by unidentified assailants at his residence. Both he and his PSO (Personal Security Officer) were injured in the incident. Thakur sustained a gunshot wound to his leg and has been referred to the Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital (IGMC) Shimla for treatment. His personal security officer (PSO), who is in critical condition, has been admitted to AIIMS Bilaspur. Reports suggest that approximately 12 rounds were fired during the attack. Deputy Commissioner Abid Hussain Sadiq visited the district hospital following the incident.
