A 12-year-old boy was thrashed and beaten up by an Uttar Pradesh politician in the Bijnor district of the state on Saturday. RLD leader and former UP minister for sugarcane, Swami Omesh, claims he caught the child red handed when he was attempting to pick his pocket.
