12-year-old From Betul Raped, Threatened With Murder
In yet another horrific case of child sexual abuse, a 12-year-old from Betul, Madhya Pradesh was raped while her parents were away. Threatened with murder, the child kept mum for months. It is only when the girl started complaining of severe stomach ache, her parents took her to a doctor where it came to light that she was in the 28th week of her pregnancy. Following much-needed intervention by the Kailash Satyarthi Children's Foundation, the child is finally getting justice. Here's the story.
