16 Tamil Fishermen Arrested By Sri Lanka, MK Stalin Asks S Jaishankar To Interfere
After 16 Indian fishermen were arrested by Sri Lanka, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has written to Foreign Minister S Jaishankar to interfere. He has sought diplomatic solution to this problem. MK Stalin has told S Jaishankar that the arrest of Indian fishermen from Tamil Nadu by Sri Lanka is on the rise and has asked for the Indian government to interfere and prevent such arrests. He has also asked the Centre to expedite the release of 128 fishermen and the boats seized by Sri Lanka.
