Bengal Floods Latest News: The West Bengal Government and the union government are involved in a fresh showdown over the devastating floods that have hit several districts of West Bengal. Amidst a blame game over the release of water from dams in Jharkhand and the Durgapur Barrage in West Bengal, two senior officials who represent West Bengal in the Damodar Valley Corporation, have resigned. The flood waters are yet to recede from some areas and with more rains forecast, over the next two days, the situation remains worrisome.
