2 Roommates Have Testified Against Kerala Hostel Warden In Suicide Case: Cop | Read
A Kerala college hostel warden, who is facing widespread backlash over the suicide of a third-year-student on the premises, is likely to be charged for abetment to suicide, an investigating official said on Tuesday.
Speaking to NDTV, Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) Inspector Ajith Kumar said several students of Manzoor Hospital and School of Nursing in Kasaragod have accused the hostel warden, Ranjani, of harassment.
Two roommates of the 20-year-old victim, Chaithanya Kumari, have testified against the warden and more students will soon be interrogated, Mr Kumar, who is from Hosdurg Police Station in Kasargod, said.
