2021 saw weddings make a tough come back. The Indian wedding industry which is estimated at $50 billion, second to the US, saw a massive impact of the pandemic on it, with the labour class hit the most. After curbs were removed and industries began to unlock, weddings too witnessed a comeback. But now, with the threat of the new variant, Omicron, stringent curbs like limited number of guests, night curfews is bringing back a sour deja vu.
