Telangana's flagship Palle Pragathi programme, the brainchild of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, is aimed at enhancing the quality of life in rural areas, and improving the governance of gram panchayats. So successful has it been, that already seven villages from Telangana rank in the list of top 10 villages under the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.
