Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy has begun testifying and presenting his case against Union Home Minister P Chidambaram in a trial court in Delhi. On December 8, the court had asked Mr Swamy to present his case today. In the court, Mr Swamy will explain why he needs to examine two witnesses in connection with his complaint seeking that Mr Chidambaram be made a co-accused in the 2G scam case. The witnesses are HC Awasthi, a Joint Director with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Sindhushree Khullar, who has served as Joint Secretary in the Finance Ministry.
