First it was a rash of scams - from the Commonwealth Games and Adarsh Housing Society - to the biggest of them all, the 2G scam, that rocked UPA-2. What followed was nothing short of a disaster. A series of gaffes by its spokespeople and ministers in recent months have resulted in the government struggling to maintain its credibility and pacify an angry public.
