A three-year-old girl's thumb was crushed allegedly at a day care centre in Gurugram near Delhi and had to be amputated, her mother has said in a widely-shared post on Facebook. The incident has exposed childcare lapses in creches and day care centres. Should regulations and registrations of playschools be tightened?
