30 Dead In Maha Kumbh Stampede: UP Govt Imposes Strict Measures
A day after the tragic stampede at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, which claimed 30 lives and left 60 injured, senior Uttar Pradesh administration officials, including top police brass and the chief secretary, were on-site to assess the situation and implement stricter safety measures. In response, the UP government has imposed major restrictions, including making the entire Kumbh area a no-vehicle zone and blocking all vehicle entries at the Prayagraj border until February 4.
