In a major crackdown, the Hyderabad police have arrested 36 people from Gujarat suspected to be involved in as many as 983 cybercrimes across India, including in Telangana. This includes a chartered accountant and several other educated youths. A team of Hyderabad police went on a special drive to Gujarat and arrested the chartered accountant and seven kingpins and detected 20 cases of cybercrime. This includes 11 investment fraud cases, four trading frauds, four Fedex courier frauds and one KYC fraud.
