On Saturday, eight soldiers of the CRPF were killed in the Kashmir valley as two terrorists ambushed their bus on a key highway and fired over 200 rounds. 22 soldiers were injured. The same highway has seen two other major terror attacks in the last few months and is heavily guarded. Despite that, despite all the security and combing of the road, eight soldiers lost their lives to two terrorists. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar says he's not sure if the Standard Operating Procedure was followed properly. The head of the CRPF admits his men don't even have partially bullet proof buses or wear bullet proof vests. Were there glaring lapses? We debate on Left, Right and Centre.
