9/11: A mother remembers her son
Talal Hamdani, a Pakistani American, lost her son on that fateful day of September 11, 2001 to the worst terror strike on American soil. But she channelled her grief by working against racial and religious stereotyping that gripped US in the aftermath of the attacks. She says this endeavour is her way of honouring the sacrifice of her son and many others who died on the day.
