9 New Union Ministers Take Oath As PM Modi Revamps Cabinet
Four minsters promoted to Cabinet rank and nine new ministers took oath at the Rashtrapati Bhavan this morning as Prime Minister Narendra Modi effects a big cabinet revamp. The focus is on who PM Modi will pick to be the new defence and railways ministers. Ministers from the BJP's newest ally, the Janata Dal United, will be inducted later, sources said. PM Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah met the new minsters this morning ahead of the oath ceremony.
