90 People Evacuated From Coastal Areas In Navi Mumbai's Uran
Ninety people, living along the coastal areas of Uran, have been evacuated so far as Cyclone Nisarga approaches Navi Mumbai, NDTV's Sohit Mishra reports. Electric poles have been damaged in the area apart from tress being uprooted by the strong winds gusting at over 100 kmph. Electric supply in some areas have been disconnected to prevent any major incident, officials told NDTV. NDRF teams have also been deployed in the area.
