A Cloud Of Smoke And Panic: CCTV Footage Of Blast in Delhi's Chandni Chowk
One person died and several were injured in an explosion in Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest and busiest markets in Delhi. A garbage picker was killed after he picked up a jute bag in which the explosion took place in the Naya Bazar area in Chandni Chowk that is a maze of congested lane. In CCTV footage, people are seen walking with packages, some pushing carts and some riding two-wheelers when the powerful blast shakes the street, leaving thick smoke everywhere. People are seen running in panic. Several windows were shattered.
