It's raining sops for Gujarat this election season. The biggest one has been the 18% GST waiver for farmers using drip irrigation. The Congress has hit out at the BJP accusing it of influencing the Election Commission to delay the announcement of dates so that the ruling government can make announcements to woo voters. The BJP has denied the charge.
