AAP, Congress Announce SOPs For Women
On a day when the BJP launched the Modi ka parivar campaign, AAP government in Delhi placed what it termed as the Ram Rajya Budget in the Delhi Assembly. Apart from the attempt to appropriate BJP's Ram agenda, the Arvind Kejriwal-led government announced it will provide Rs 1,000 per month to every woman 18 years and above under the Mukhya Mantri Mahila Samman Yojna. Within hours of the announcement in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh's Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu announced that all women in the age group of 18-80 will get Rs 1,500 per month.
