Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party, or AAP, that emerged out of Anna Hazare-led anti-corruption movement in 2012, got elevated to a national party status on Monday. The party is currently in power in two states - Delhi and Punjab; several sitting MLAs have been dropped and Congress turncoats chosen in the BJP's first list of candidates for Karnataka election likely to be released tomorrow or day after, party sources have said and other top stories.
